Why do I have an option of backing up my messages in my icloud, but yet I can’t get into them when I sign into my iCloud account. They have to be there somewhere because when I got a new phone, I downloaded all of the messages on to my new phone from my cloud.

Although stored in iCloud and synced from iCloud, messages are neither visible or accessible in iCloud.
