I would be very suspicious of an app that wants to “manage keystrokes”. If by some means they are recording keystrokes, they would know your IDs and passwords for websites, and anything else you access on your computer.

Keystrokes are simply what happens when you press keys on your keyboard. It's probably a misleading term, but that's what it means.
But why would an app need that. It’s not really useful just letters you’re typing after all.
