Lost Contacts out of the blue

Hi,

I lost my contacts suddenly. I tried doing all recommended by Apple - toggling on/off; resetting Network Settings; restarting iPhone; recovering from iCloud (and yes, I have had my iCloud on) an older version (dated a month earlier from the day of loss of Contacts). All with no success. I have now completely lost hope. Need your help.

Add the email account that hosted contacts on your device. If that was your corporate email account which you can no longer access then all the contacts are lost.

Contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
