why is there a billing problem and i can’t download or update apps?

every time i try to download or update an app it says there was a billing problem i can’t do anything because all my apps need to be updated and i can’t get new ones

Welcome to the Apple Community where some of us do our best to help each other.


Seems like you may need to go to your Apple ID account, (used for iTunes, and everything Apple) and check everything is in order. (For example, it may be that the expiry date on your main payment method has expired .. ?)

Change, Add or Remove Apple ID Payment methods
