Mute phone call on beats flex ear pods

If i push the multifunction button (which is the play/pause control for music) while on a phone call, it is disconnecting the call. Any suggestions to be able to mute the call? Or is there no way to mute and unmute on the headset?

How to solve this problem? When I'm using my AirPods, phone calls can be deafeningly loud. If I make the ringer quieter, I won't be able to hear my phone very well. It's frustrating that there's no way to adjust the ringtone volume separately for the headphones. Today, while I was listening to music in AirPods, I got several calls. After I felt headache :/ Hopefully Apple will add more options to settings, so this issue could be solved.

Noise Cancellation for the Caller When I am on a call with Airpod Pros, the call can hear everything! and I mean everything I am doing. Is there noise cancellation for this? Is there a way to tune out surrounding noise so the person I am speaking with can only hear me and not the dishes I am loading in the dishwasher?
