Facebook error code 100

I FOUND THR FIX GUYS!!!!! So, go to settings>Passwords>Security recommendations> Here you’ll see “high priority” click on the ones that says Facebook and it will say compromised password. At the bottom press “delete password.” I did this to all of the ones that said FB and it RESOLVED the issue. I hope this helps you all!!!!

I was having the same problem for weeks.

I had a dual sim (ESIM Google Fi and physical SIM Verizon).

I removed the Verizon SIM, deleted the Verizon cell profile, and now Facebook app is working again.

So, if you have dual sim too, might be something with that.

I had this exact issue using the Facebook APP on iPhone 11 Pro, 14.6.

What I did was reset the phone -

1-Erase all Content and Settings.

2- Upon the set up screen I chose to manually add my apps and NOT use my back up. (yes this was annoying as I had to reinstall all apps and log in again, however if you choose to use the back up the same issue occurs)

This worked for me so I do hope this works for you!

I suspect that alba155 has resolved their problem from 4 months ago.

But if you haven’t you need to contact Facebook support. This is an Apple forum, and Facebook is not an Apple product.

@marlon - seems that you and I have same issue. I see also that I have been trying to login by email on hotmail, and you on Live. Both seems to be “Outlook” (Microsoft) domains.

now I have no possibility, but did you tried to login via mobile number or any alternate email that might be earlier added to account (eg via browser)?

after waiting few months I have tried today to login. 2 times bad password, but on 3rd time surprisingly it LOGGED IN!

What I have done? Nothing. Just installed updates as usual. I did not uninstalled anything till this time and did not installed anything new.

+ Messenger also works.

Same here - no access to FB app and no access to messenger! I have also tried Everything! Resetting settings, phone, app… have you tried to login on Facebook app on other iPhone or iPad? I’m curious is it because of account or because of exact iPhone issue.

The same thing happens to me, I can open the account through the browser and from the application I can not open any account and it is very rare because of other Apple devices if I can log in, but from my iPhone I cannot, someone who can help me

My account was hacked and apparently I need a two-factor Authenticator code in order to get back into my account. I had no clue that was on and so I told Facebook to text it to me. But every time I try, I get the same error code you all get and that two-factor code will not come through. HELP! FB has yet to contact meafter submitting multiple help tickets through their Help Center.😭 can’t even log in!!!! My friends said my account is gone from their pages, but when I try to login, I can see my account profile. Does anyone know how to fix this?!!!
