Loud Noise and Volume

Hi there.

My Macbook has been making a very loud fan noise for the past few days and it doesn't shut off until 5 minutes after I close the screen. I have closed most of my tabs but it continues to make this loud noise.

I am also having trouble with my touch bar. The volume symbols aren't working and they are not lit up so I have to adjust the volume through settings.

Please let me know the next steps to fixing these problems.
