How can I fix mistakes when the photo app mislabels someone?

Ijusthaveaquestion,
Thank you for getting back to us.
If you don't want to have to go back and search through photos to make the name change. You can double-click the photo with the mis-named individual. Go to the View menu and Show Face Names. This should give you text boxes with the names where you can make the changes.
It may take a while for People to finish updating and you may need to quit and restart it for all the changes to register.
Cheers.

Hello Ijusthaveaquestion,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
We understand that you have some relative that are mislabeled in Photos. If you are are using Photos for Mac on macOS Big Sur, you can follow these steps to rename the images.
Open Photos and click on People in the side bar.
Locate the image that is incorrectly labeled and click on the name.
This should open the name in a text box, simply type in the correct name in the text box and click out of the box.
This should correct the labeling for the photo. You would use the same steps for the photos that are not identified, moving your cursor to the bottom left of the photo should bring up the text box to enter the name.
If you are trying to make these corrections on a different device or an earlier version of macOS or Photos, get back to us and we can go from there.
Best regards.
Do I have to go through all of the photos to try to find the mislabeled one, or is there a way to do it when it pops up in the wrong group?
Attached is a screen shot. The yearbook photo should not be in this group. I tried clicking on it and giving it the name "Dad" in hopes that would move it out of "Grandpa" and into "Dad" but it still is here
Thank you so much! That worked!
A related question--- when it asks me to confirm a photo, rather than just say "no" I would like to give the correct name for the photo---is that possible to do?
