how do i add calendar to icloud

my icloud does not show my calendar. how can i add it to the cloud?

On a Mac: Apple menu > System Preferences > Apple ID > iCloud (in left sidebar) > put check mark in front of Calendars.

On an iPhone or iPad: Settings > [username] > iCloud > Calendars.
