Apple ID on both computer and phone, not syncing music.

I am signed into the same Apple ID on my phone and computer, but some music is ONLY on my phone and some is only my computer. My phone is not shown as an authorized device on my computer where I am signed in with the same Apple ID.

I have a second Apple ID, and it is listed as on my account with the above ID. I tried adding it to Family Sharing, but it says it is already associated.

I purchased iTunes match to make sure I could get all my music, but when I go to Settings > Music and try to sync, it says it will delete the music on my phone and replace it with what is on my computer. So I will lose that music.

So confused. Anyone dealt with this?

Hello VanesMarie,

We understand that you're looking to sync your music between your phone and computer. Music syncing can be done either manually through the computer or through iTunes Match or Sync Library which use iCloud.

Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support

If you switch syncing methods, it's normal that you may see an alert about songs being removed. This happens while your connected switches to use one library (for example, that of your Mac) which then syncs to your devices, as opposed to the two unique libraries that it is now. If the music is purchased through iTunes or manually uploaded to your Mac, they will remain accessible.

Thanks!
