iBooks crashing on iPad

Running 14.5.1 on an older iPad mini. Today it took multiple attempts to download an Appletv user guide because it kept crashing. Finally got it, but each time I try to read the book, it crashes after a few pages. Anyone have any fixes?

IBooks still iBooks 16.3 massively unstable despite trying all the recommended fixes: software update check, closing reopening iBooks, restarting ipad etc. I think iBooks is just unstable which is massivel6 frustrating. Anyone managed to get a stable 16.3 iBooks App. It just crashes continuously. All updates checked, app closed and reopened, rebooted iPad …it still crashes! Massively frustrating.

iBooks: toolbar not disappearing after updating to iPadOS 15 Hi, After updating to iPad Os 15 found out that the UI in Apple Books does not disappears like it used to. Before the update, I could tap in the center of the page layout and the toolbar (the user interface containing progress bar, bookmark icon, font options…) would immediately hide. Already tried reinstalling Apple Books and updating to Os 15.0.1, but problem persists. Anyone experiencing the same issue? Pretty annoying this toolbar while reading.
