My iPhone 12 froze and no buttons would work - but called 911 as I tried to reboot!
My iPhone 12 froze while I was on a phone call. I could not do anything, even end my call. I had to try the reboot by holding the two sides to get the slide power off. The slide did not work. My phone would not do anything when touching the screen. I could not cancel this screen, so I tried to hold the buttons before the phone called 911. That did not work. My phone was calling 911 and I could NOT cancel the call. I had to tell 911 I had no emergency, that my phone was frozen and nothing worked to shut it down or stop the call! Oddly enough, once 911 hung up - my phone was okay. It works fine.
What could I have done with my phone when I was stuck on that screen before the phone called 911???
