Apple Watch series 4 not charging
Why is my Apple Watch series 4 not charging?
It only shows the red lightning icon. I can’t even turn it on. Do I need a new battery? The watch is 3 years old.

I have to say it sounds odd if the battery is dead already ... especially if the watch been used regularly? Did this issue start suddenly out of the blue and the watch has been OK until now?
If it really doesn't turn on, taking it to repairs and battery service would be the next thing to consider.
