I have just upgraded from a 4-year old iPad Pro (10.5") to a new iPad Pro (11"). It seems the screen keyboard layout has changed. In particular the emoji and numeric buttons are reversed, meaning I hit the wrong one all the time. There is no difference in Settings. Has anyone else seen this? I can't find any setting that controls it.

Yes, there are changes to the screen layout - in particular the swap in relative positions of the globe/emoji and number-shift keys. Regrettably, this is not a configurable option in iPad settings.
