Voice memo on Apple Watch 6 not syncing to iPhone

I own an Apple Watch 6 and an iPhone 11 Pro and have the latest software installed on both devices. I have spent hours troubleshooting this issue over the phone with an Apple Care support officer but to no avail. This is my second week owning the watch. is anyone else facing the same issue? My friend, who owns an Apple Watch 6, is also facing the same issue. another friend who owns an Apple Watch SE does not have this issue.

Fair enough, I'm with you on that. Do you have Voice Memos enabled for iCloud (under Settings > Apple ID > iCloud) and are you not receiving them on your iPad nor Mac either? I jiust tried with an S6 here and the downloading was more or less instant, once I refreshed that view in the Voice Memos app on the connected iPhone.

Did you already try uninstalling and reinstalling the Voice Memo app?

Delete built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS 14 or iPadOS device or Apple Watch - Apple Support

Then unpairing and re-pairing would be another suggestion.

I have not tried uninstalling and installing the voice memo app as I did not want to risk losing the voice memos in my phone. I have lost the first voice memo in my watch when i unpaired and paired both devices. So far, nothing works. Am still waiting for an Apple engineer to solve my issue
