New expensive polarized sunglass make it impossible to read iphone SE 2020 screen - help please?

There is no real fix for that situation, as Lawrence mentions. Looking at a display with a polarizing filter through polarized lenses is going to block out the content.

Polarized sunglasses and LCD screens are incompatible, because liquid crystals are by their nature polarized. You may also notice “ripples” in the windshield of your car, because it is partially polarized also.

In addition to the discussion of polarization and LCD displays (more, and more), in an increasing number of locations, it is illegal to be looking at a phone while driving. Best to use voice commands and voice navigation, even if viewing a phone is considered legal in your location.

I assume you went into display and brightness and tried the change the settings with your expensive sunglasses on.
