Why is my iMac notifying me of an iOS update?

So many things have gone weird since I updated my software on both the Mac and iPhone. I'm running OS 11.3.1, and now my iMac is sending me notifications every minute to update my iPhone (running 14.5.1). Why is it doing this now — it never did before — and how do I stop THAT notification without turning off all notifications?
