Automator to run tasks at a scheduled time?

Is there any way Automator will open an app at a certain time?

There is no built-in scheduler in Automator.

Your options include:

  • Using Calendar.app, with an event set to run an AppleScript, or with your workflow saved as a Calendar Alarm
  • Using cron, launchd, or some other external scheduler to launch your script/application.
