My iPhone has been stolen two days ago. I tried all the possibilities. I could not assign its location because it was turned off. There is something I need to understand, does the police can track my IPhone with the IMEI number even if it was turned off? and even if it was in another country?

Did you enable Find My?
If you didn't turn on Find My [device] before your device was lost or stolen, it can't be used to locate your device. Change your Apple ID password. Change the passwords for other internet accounts on your device. This can include email accounts, Facebook, or Twitter etc...

1. If the thief put another sim card, would his PIN or my previous PIN appears to him when he turned on the phone?
2. I blocked my stolen SIM and restored it, would the person having my phone receives the message that I do when I choose the "Lost Mode"?.
