a1708 2017 Macbook unpluggable SSD failure
There is a recall program for this failure but the machine has gone beyond the three years of eligibility. Has anyone had any luck with Apple in this scenario?

I suppose Apple wouldn't offer you this recall program, though it's worth trying contact Apple Support and talk about the recall is still eligible for your MacBook Pro.
