Can I circle an area in a video in Photos on iPhone X? Do I have to use iMovie, or can I avoid that?

I shot a few videos on my iPhone X and there is an area in each video that I want to circle to draw the viewer's attention to. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to editing photos and videos. I'm wondering if there is a way to just create a circle around what I want in the videos, or do I need to incorporate IMovie? If possible, please provide steps. Thank you to anyone who can answer or attempt to answer.

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! That's a great question you have about editing your videos to add an accent on a specific area for viewers. We have a few options you can try to get this done:

On the iPhone, you can use iMovie to make the edits by following the steps in these links:
- Edit video clips in Photos on iPhone
- Adjust effects in the viewer in iMovie on iPhone
You can search the App Store for another app that will allow you to make the changes on the iPhoen for the videos.
You can make the changes on a computer.
