I am getting this message

The server p45-smtp.mail.me.com rejected my account as a user does not exist.

But I can log onto icloud mail from the web.

I am using the mail client Version 10.3 (3273) with macOS Sierra


Any idea what is going on?

Apple iCloud mail was not working May 27 from 09:30 PDT to 15:00 Hrs May 27 as per System Status
