Hi all,
I bought a 5th generation iPad and I get ‘’iMessage Activation Error’’ and cannot clear this error message… Even if I press iMessage, I cannot cancel the error message only way is turning off the device.
And my other question is, why we cannot change the scale of slide over window? I don’t think it’s a hard operation for an OS…

The Slide-over view has a fixed aspect ratio; this cannot be altered. By contrast, a Split view window can be proportioned as 25/50/75% of the relative width of the screen. iPadOS does not provide any other means by which the relative windows can be resized.

Let’s try to activate iMessage from Settings. To do that, open Settings > Messages. Turn on iMessage and sign in using your Apple ID. Once you’re logged in, try to open the Messages app again. It should work as expected now.

To get started, can you tell us if this happens as soon as you turn the iPad on or after taking certain steps? Also, is the iPad currently connected to Wi-Fi?

I can normally use my iPad. But if I press iMessage app I get this error and if I press ‘cancel’ it come back again at once and also device doesn’t allow me go another app… Only solution is turning off the device.
