How do I minimize (or remove) the top half of a playlist in the Music app?

I just upgraded from an old MacBook Pro running Catalina to a new one with Big Sur. On Big Sur, the Music app's playlists all have about half of the screen taken up by a giant collage of album art, plus the playlist name, song count, playtime, etc. On Catalina, I could minimize this somewhat by dragging the bottom edge of it up (i.e., drag the top of the columns up). That doesn't seem to be an option in Big Sur.

It's a waste of space and I'd rather have more songs visible than...absolutely nothing on the right sight. Any way to fix this?

Yup, it is a waste of space and it undermines the whole purpose of Songs view. Unfortunately there is no preference to minimize it. It is just a "feature." Sorry.
