Carrier settings

I’ve been experiencing a lot of dropped calls, calls cutting in and out. I read that I need to reset my carrier settings and that might help. I’m wondering if that will reset my entire phone or just the carrier settings?

It should only "reset" your phone's cellular provider's settings.
