syncing a playlist from iTunes on High Sierra iMac to iPhone

I can't figure out how to sync a playlist from iTunes on my iMac (High Sierra) to my iPhone or iPad. I used to be able to before I upgraded the operating system.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Transfer playlists from iTunes to Music When I transfer music from iTunes on my old iMac to Music on my newer iMac (Big Sur) I do not get the my playlists in Music.
