Why MacBook Air M1 takes longer time to ship?

I ordered my macbook on 24th May but it shows 10 days to deliver. There is huge room for apple to improve its online retail services.

You are addressing other users here - this is not Apple support, so we cannot do or suggest anything at all regarding Apple policies or why they do what they do.

I'd suggest you talk to Apple and ask them for an explanation.

Where are you located? That could have something to do with it.

Also, is this one of the base configurations or have you customized it

(changed amount of RAM, different size SSD)?

If it is the latter case, all of those are build to order and takes time to

get into the production queue, built, and then shipped.

Also, the new MacBook Air can be in high demand and production

is not keeping up with orders, especially considering there is still a

pandemic going on.

Sorry, but these are worldwide user to user tech forums and it isn't up to you to dictate who may or may not respond.

And, if you ask a question for which only Apple can provide a definitive answer, you have to expect basic and general information.

As I said in my first response: ask Apple to give you specifics pertaining to your order.
