My Macbook air is experiencing pink screen issue , purchased in the year 2019.

Today my 2 year old macbook Air is experiencing pink screen . After researching solutions and coming up empty handed, i found so many apple users who like me 1-2 year old are facing same . A 1-2 year old laptop should not be breaking like this. A free repair was announced in the year 2019 with #flexgate and pink screen issue. I also want a free repair regarding the same . What is the recent update about laptops facing this issue?
