How to completely disable Command + W keyboard shortcut globally

I'm trying to play a game while on Discord and always have my push to talk button set to Command. I changed the PTT button but am still hitting Command out of instinct... and need to use WASD. I can't play said game for more than a couple minutes without accidentally closing it and am getting really frustrated.

Is there any way to completely disable this keyboard shortcut without paying for some premium app to override it? I don't see it in the system preferences > keyboard > shortcuts at all.
