SMTP server email

That depends on your ISP (internet service provider) - they are the ones that use their own settings.

Try to add Apple Mail and your ISP account and see if it will populate automatically. If not, you need to contact them for the settings/ports.

Depends on who your email provider is. If it is a gmail account you get the smtp setting from gmail. If it is an yahoo account you get the smtp server setting from yahoo, if it is a comcast email account you get the smtp server setting from comcast, etc.
