Why does the paints on the lens ring of my iPhone 11 (black) back camera chipping? I just bought it 6 months ago. I thought it was just a dust, I’ve tried to brush it off just to realised it wasn’t. Im using phone case all the time, it so unpleasant

Im using phone case all the time, it so unpleasant to look at. Can Apple centre do anything about this?

Hi there Arabelle678,

We understand you have some questions about damage or wear your see on your iPhone. We can provide information.

Contact with other hard materials in a pocket or purse, or contact with a surface may be a potential cause. Is the camera working normally and are photos you capture with your iPhone coming out like you expect them to?

Cosmetic damage isn't covered under the one-year warranty. Use this link to select your product, region or country, and find out the details: Legal - Hardware Warranties - Apple

Cheers!
