Hi whats the thunderbolt port of the 2012 mac mini and is it possible to run a EGPU off it?

Do you need some sort of adapter?

Can my 27" imac (late 2013) run an eGPU? I would like to run a program called leapfrog geo off my computer. Needs to run off windows 10, which I have a partion for via bootcamp. All other computer components are fine to run this program off besides the GPU. https://www.seequent.com/help-support/system-requirements/leapfrog3d/ I belive that you can run an external GPU to run these processing heavy programs. I am just unsure of the compatibility with the intel chip (i3) and the eGPUs. Another drama I think I migh have is the thunderbolt port. Have been looking online to try and work out which thunderbolt port the computer has (1 or 2?) no clear answers I can find. Basically need some guidence to what I need to do to be able to run this program. Any help will be greatly apreciated.

egpu hi is it possible to connect a thunderbolt 3 egpu to a thunderbolt 2 mac mini? any advice pls need to run egpu under bootcamp w10 for gaming

What about a later 2014 iMac 27” 5K with only Thunderbolt 2 ports? Is Thunderbolt 3 the only way to use egpu? out of luck if you have thunderbolt 2?

thunderbolt 2 and no it does not support egpu
