Mirror MBP to Apple TV on different Wifi?
Is there a way to mirror my MacBook Pro to Apple TV when they are both connected to different wifi networks? Or would I need to hard wire in to the TV via HDMI?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0

no, they need to be on the same subnet
though if the different wifi networks is the same router but 2.4Ghz wifi and 5Ghz wifi then one can bridge them in the wifi router

Thanks. I'm staying in a hotel and have premium wifi but only for one device. So annoying it seems I can't airplay to the TV. Was hoping maybe I could do it via Bluetooth.
bluetooth does not have enough bandwidth to transfer high-resolution video streaming.
