I can’t able update my Apple Watch software

Cannot do updates until some apps are removed. Removed everything but Apple apps that won’t delete

To update your apple watch your phone needs to have at least ios13 or higher,your iphone 6plus will only update to ios12 maximum.

You need an iphone 6s or higher.

What error messages are you getting when you try.

And what version of software is on each one?.
