Bluetooth devices keep getting disconnected

I bought the Iphone 12 pro recently. The devices connected to my phone through Bluetooth keep getting disconnected. The airpods pro disconnect too during a phone call. Same with the Jabra headset and the Garmin watch too. They need to be paired every now and then. This was not the case with the Iphone 7 which I used earlier.

Hi navdeepsh464,

It sounds like you have multiple Bluetooth devices disconnecting. We're glad you've joined us in Apple Support Communities. Let's see if this helps.

Have you had a chance to restart and check your iPhone for updates? Both restarts and updates resolve issues both big and small.

If you have already updated your iPhone, you'll want to be sure to restart the Bluetooth accessories and see if they reconnect.

If the issue continues, then you'll want to forget the accessories in Settings > Bluetooth, reset the accessories to factory default, then pair and connect and test again. Follow the steps in the section "Unpair a Bluetooth accessory" in Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue remains after following those steps, let us know what it says in Settings > Bluetooth when this issue occurs. Also, be sure to let us know what steps you had a chance to try from above.

We hope that helps with your question and take care!

Hi. Thank you for your reply.

1. My phone is updated and there are no further updates available. IOS 14.6

2. I’ve tired the following as well. Forgotten all Bluetooth connections and restarted the phone. Then added the Bluetooth devices as new again.

3. There is no issue with listening to music on the AirPods. It’s seamless.

4. The issue pertains to calls. AirPods or my Jabra headset. Both get disconnected or have trouble in keeping the connection on during a phone call.

5. My Garmin watch keeps disconnecting from the phone frequently.

6. Please note I am using a physical SIM card as well as the e-SIM. Can that be an issue.

7. I use a TPlink mesh router system for my house. The 2.5ghz network is switched off to avoid interference as well. Can this be an issue?

The problem still persists. Can it be a problem with the device? Or is it a software glitch?

I have tried to figure out the issue myself and the following are the observations.

1. Using AirPods OR my Jabra headset while disconnecting my Garmin watch from the phone. They work absolutely fine without disruption.

2. Similarly when a Bluetooth headset is not connected. My Garmin watch functions fine with the phone too.

3. The issue arises when I try to connect both the headset and the watch simultaneously. Can the 2 devices not connect simultaneously over Bluetooth to the iPhone? Or is the issue specific to interference created by the Garmin watch?

Kindly suggest.
