Virus notifications occurring
I began receiving Calendar notifications yesterday regarding a virus on my phone with instructions to go to links provided. I have not opened any of the links. Is this sort of thing legitimate?

No. Do not respond. It is just adware
In Calendar app, tap on Calendars and uncheck the ones you don’t recognise .
Then Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Subscribed Calendars, look for the problem calendar and delete it.

When a website asks to send you notifications, special offers etc always say NO.

Thank you. I tried what you suggested but when I opened subscribed calendars there were none there.
Thank you I have resolved the issue.
Tell us how.
