I have iPhone x with internal damaged screen that leads to another problems which are the Face ID is not working after that and the battery has swelled
When I went to apple store in uae they told me that the phone can not be exchanged so please I need to know why it is rejected
If its available I need to know how much it is cost to exchange my phone to a new phone of the same edition

As far as Apple is concerned you can’t do either. Repair it or recycle it are your two options

You need to deal with an Authorized Service Provider in the UAE. iPhone X has been discontinued for some time. Your phone is damaged beyond repair. In its current condition it has no value.

iPhone X was discontinued in September 2018. It was replaced by iPhone Xs, which was then replaced with iPhone 11, which is now replaced with iPhone 12.

Yes, but they went to their Apple Store in the UAE and they were told they couldn't exchange the phone. Perhaps Apple didn't have any units available for Out of Warranty replacements? Wouldn't they have been offered an OoW replacement if they had any?

That is when Apple ceased selling it, they still make/have service replacement units.
I think they went there and wanted to exchange it for an XR and they were told they couldn't do that.
