For all practical purposes there are no viruses that can infect an iPhone, so it is not a virus.
They look like links on a web page you went to.
The google search page is a web page. There are a lot of links on it, including links to the google logo. However, postimg.cc is an alias of the website postimages.org, a free image posting site. Did any of the hits from your google search return any images?
Ah, then most likely reddit displayed an image from postimages.org.

Thank you very much. However, I checked my safari history and the only websites I went to was the Google search page.
My iphone said the postimg.cc was opened between 3-4. During that period i didn't even open Safari at all. The only app at that time i used was the reddit app.
