Hi, I want to use an older iMac to serve up movies & music to my apple TV. However it doesn't seem to see the computer on the network.
iTunes has sharing enabled, using the same Apple ID.
Are these incompatible?

I'd switched on Sharing on Local network under preferences, but not home sharing.
It was a silly thing to miss and thanks for pointing me to the support article.
