Music skipping on 2021 Subaru Crosstrek

I have seen a few questions posted about this issue and I have the same problem. Podcasts and music skip so badly while listening on Bluetooth you can’t listen to them. The dealer said it was because it was conflicting with my Apple Watch which was also using Bluetooth. I turned off my watch and sure enough, no more skipping. This of course is not a great fix and frankly quite unacceptable. Hopefully Subaru gets this figured out. I had a 2018 Honda Accord before this and didn’t have this problem so I know it’s possible. I love the Crosstrek so I hope they get it resolved soon. I would normally use CarPlay but it is not the most reliable either, which is why I was using Bluetooth. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and Apple Watch 3rd Generation.
