Lost Wi-Fi after Security Update 2021-003 Catalina on MacBook Pro mid 2012

Today, I lost the Wi-Fi immediately after rebooting from Security Update 2021-003 Catalina 10.15.7 (19H1217) on my MacBook Pro mid 2012. Now, only the Ethernet connection is working. I can not create or add new Wi-Fi connection as it is not available anymore. I tried to contact Apple but unfortunately for some reason my current location is not covered by Apple help. Any thoughts?

Hi

Just want to share with you that the problem was solved and the Wi-Fi just went back after multiple restarts followed by a forced shutdown. It seems that the OS had refresh itself. I am not sure if that make sense!
