Hi,
I cannot share my Apple Card with my wife who meets all the requirements to be eligible for it (we are both on iOS 14.6, I own the Apple Card and I am the Shared Family account originator and she is a guardian in that account, both devices region is set to United States, and we are both above 18).
Any idea how this can be resolved?

Somehow yesterday after getting forced to update my Apple ID from @mac.com to my email (gmail in this case), this issue got fixed! In case you have @mac Apple ID, try changing that?
Turn off any VPN. Is Apple Cash card active and appearing in both Wallet Apps?
This worked for someone earlier today, try deleting the invitation on your iPhone and re- invite your wife.
I have encountered the same problem. Tried removing and re-adding my wife to our Shared Family account, but did not help. Called in to the Apple Card support line, was redirected to Apple support (Apple ID) and then to second-level support. Have an incident opened that is being investigated. No resolution yet.
When you updated your ID, you may have also turned on two factor authentication. This is also a requirement to add Participants and Co-owners.

I’ve got the same issue. After learning that I can’t invite her even though she meets the requirements, I tried sending my wife an invite over airdrop… it then asked her to leave her current family and join a different one. (Something she can only do once a year). After verifying she doesn’t have a second (secret) family, I stopped the interrogation and tried looking up answers on the inter webs.
The issue is still open for me (with Apple Support), have not been successful yet. I do have a "vintage Apple ID" (includes mac.com), so if that is indeed related then I would fall into that category.
I’ve turned VPN off and still the same issue. Apple Cash card is active on both sides but it’s not shared family card, and I can’t seem yo be able to enable that with my wife.

Correct. In the Choose Person screen, my wife appears but is disabled (Unavailable for sharing).
No, only one account and the same account that’s on the shared family plan.
