Logic Pro X recording stops abruptly

Hi Everyone!

I use Logic Pro X regularly and am occasionally faced with a strange problem. I use Logic Pro X at our church to record a live multitrack session. Currently we are using a 2016 MBPro w/Touchbar (16GB/1TB SSD). I record anywhere from sixteen (16) to thirty (30) tracks simultaneously . After an indeterminate time (anywhere from 30-minutes or more) Logic simply stops recording - but continues to play forward, leaving a gap in the tracks until we hit "R" to resume recording.

Does anyone have a solution for this troublesome issue?
