The new iPad Air 4 lacks the true depth, Face ID cameras needed for Animojis to work.

True Depth, Face ID cameras are only found on the newer iPad Pro models ONLY and on higher end iPhone models.

After the iOS 14.0.1 update, my customized Memoji disappeared. Plus can’t find Animoji on iPad Pro. After the latest update, my customized Memoji disappeared. I had to start over and create a new one. THAT’s annoying. Is Animoji available on iPad Pro running iPad iOS 14.0.1? If so, how do I get it on my keyboard in Messages?

Only iPads supporting Face ID (equipped with TrueDepthCamera) can create animated memojis, sorry.
