Ear Fit Test not working on AirPods

Ear fit test failing even though the AirPods Pro are already in the ears am still getting a message PLACE AIRPODS IN BOTH EARS

Hey dorothea260,

It appears you're trying to do the Ear Tip Fit Test with your AirPods Pro, but keep seeing a prompt to place both AirPods in your ears.

You can see how to do the Ear Tip Fit Test in the following article: Choose your AirPods Pro ear tips and use the Ear Tip Fit Test If needed, you may need to try another ear tip size to see if that may help with the Ear Tip Fit Test.

If you've tried multiple ear tips and still encounter this, restarting your iPhone may help as well: Restart your iPhone Restarting may seem like a simple step, but it can sometimes help resolve issues.
