We are happy to help with the issue you are having with your iPhone 12. We see you came from Use Typing Feedback on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. It sounds like you might have Dictation or VoiceOver turned on. Learn about Dictate text on iPhone here.

Check out the section "Turn VoiceOver on or off" in Turn on and practice VoiceOver on iPhone. Let us know what happens when check these settings.

iPhone Voice to Text punctuation not working - iOS 17 Update Has anybody else noticed that the punctuation when using voice to text is suddenly really terrible? I’m fully disabled with hand disabilities that make corrections not just difficult, but exceedingly painful, and suddenly voice to text is adding periods, where I don’t want periods, commas, where I don’t want commas, doesn’t capitalize the first letter on sentences, and is generally so much worse than it was before I updated.
