Ford Sync and iphone 11

I have a 2010 Ford with Sync. I purchased a new iphone 11 in June2020 and sync and usb stopped working immediately. Sync did not give me the option to add a new phone and would not show any of the advanced options. I tried pulling the fuse a few times but nothing worked. When I ported to the new phone, all settings and my phone name came over. to the new phone. The phone name is the problem. I changed the name of my phone and turned the phone off for ten minutes. When I turned the phone back on, everything worked! Remember Sync will not pair while you are moving. Hope this helps.
