Kindly provide added feature to take Face ID photo with face mask on iPhone without iwatch 3 as introduced in iOS 14.6
All users should be able to take photo without face mask & face mask and save both perhaps focus on retina and not just bone structure
This is needed especially today otherwise it defeats the purpose of security.
Very awkward to access phone when people breathing down your back in a store

If you don't have an Apple Watch Series 3 or newer, you cannot use this feature.
Models older than the Series 3 don't have the proper hardware for this feature, so it cannot ever be done.

My key wording is “without” I watch
You are NOT addressing Apple. This is a user to user only forum. What you are asking for is not very secure and Apple is all about security, so I highly doubt this is something Apple would offer. You must not understand that Face ID is not just a photo. It uses a True Depth Camera system to map the contours of your face very accurately to know it is you opening your phone. With a face mask on, the True Depth Camera won't be able to map the full contours of your face.
