Monthly full charge

I have a 2020 iPhone SE and I have read it is best practice to keep it charged between 40 and 80%, doing a full charge once a month. For this full charge, should you drain it to 0, charge it fully to 100, and then fully drain it again? Or after a full charge am I ok to carry on draining to 40?

Just use your iPhone as you want to. There is no "secret" to the battery or a need to drain to 0% once a month.
