Mail storage too high / even after removing the account from Mail app

Hello,

I was looking into my storage trying to free up some space on my laptop, and saw that my Mail is taking up 130gb of my laptops storage.

Which is definitely possible since I get a huge amount of attachments sent to my email every day.

But since I don't really even use the Mail app at all (I just use the Gmail website) - I decided I'll just remove my gmail account from the Mail app.

But even after that my Mail storage remains the same, it still takes up 130gb.

What can I do to fix this? Thank you.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.4

I tried using both Omnidisksweeper and Disk inventory X, and couldn't fix the issue with either.

Actually, they made it even more confusing to me. Here's what happened:

Before scanning, Disk Inventory X gives me this information (404.8GB used)

But after scanning it gives a completely different number (220.6GB)

Same happens with Omnidisksweeper. It's like this Mail storage is hidden somewhere where these apps can't find it.

I really hope somebody can help me fix this issue.
